How to get a custom printer profile for your printer/ink/paper combination
Follow these simple steps to get your own custom printer profile:

Download a set of
target files
to print on your printer. Our standard targets
are 3 A4 TIFF images that you print with all colour management turned off.
If you are unable to download the files then we are able to provide the targets on CD
for a nominal fee.

Print the targets using your
printer/paper combination. You will need to print a separate set of
targets for each printer/ink/paper combination that you want to profile.

Allow the targets to air dry for at least 6 hours and preferably 24 hours.

Post
the targets to us (preferably in a card-backed envelope). The targets
should be sent flat and unfolded, don't roll the targets.

We
measure your targets and generate your profiles using the latest Gretag Macbeth hardware
and software - we use ProfileMaker to generate your profiles.

We email you the profiles (and if requested we forward you the profiles on CD)
together with instructions on how to use the profiles.

Use the profile in your colour management aware application.

That's all there is to it!

The targets are intended to be printed on A4 paper. If you need a different paper format

, we are able to produce a custom set of targets for many other paper formats.

Please don't fold or roll the targets. They should be posted to us flat with no folds or creases.

Please don't cut the targets. It makes it harder for us to process the targets if they are not full size.
